Just a reminder that conferences next week are on an as needed basis. If you do not receive a time and would like to meet with me, contact me and we’ll set up a time to meet together.
February 13th will be a very busy afternoon. Students will pass out Valentines after lunch, participate in Jump Rope for Heart from 12:30-1:45, have recess and then the food/party. Phew! We could still use some things for the party such as the following: cheese and crackers, finger jell-o, and fruit. If you are able to provide one of these, please send me an email or note. Thank you!

Jan. 16, 17: Early dismissal @ 1:55/End of semester
20:Native American Dwellings due
20: Delayed start
Please note that Thursday and Friday, Jan. 16 and 17, students are dismissed at 1:55 because of the high school exam schedule. This is the end of the first semester and second marking period, so ALL work must be handed in by this date to receive credit. The most common missing assignments are Home Links, with several students missing several of these. If they’re not handed it, students will receive a zero. Students are able to check the poster in our classroom and/or with me and feel free to call or email if you’re wondering.

Tis the Season!
Happy Holidays! I hope you are enjoying your preparations for the Christmas season.
I will be absent this Tuesday as I attend a training at the ISD for our technology grant.
The Christmas Program is Monday, Dec. 16. The program begins at 7:00. Students should arrive at 6:45 in their dress clothes (no jeans, please).
Last week students drew the name of a classmate to purchase a small gift for. There is a $5 limit. If you may have trouble purchasing a gift, just let me know and I would be happy to do that for your child. I certainly don’t want it to be a financial burden but only a fun and thoughtful way to celebrate the season. If your child does not remember their person, feel free to call or email me and I can let you know.
Have a great week!
