Busy Week!

We're looking forward to our field trip this Thursday.  Make sure your child is dressed for the weather (it may be cool), wears comfortable shoes, and has a sack lunch.  We will be returning at 4:00.  If your child is riding with someone other than you or is riding home from Ludington with you, please send a note. A note is coming home in today's Monday folders.

Ending May

The next few weeks will prove to be busy ones as we cram in as much learning and as much fun as possible. Thank you to all the moms and sons who attended our game night. We hope you had fun. Here's a look at what's to come these next few weeks: May 24: AR store May 28: no school ( Memorial Day) May 31: field trip June 1: Fun to be Fit/ all library books due June 1: July birthdays' party June 7: August birthdays' party June 8: track and field afternoon

Wow! As I look ahead to May, I can't believe all the events we have.  Here's a quick summary:

May 17: We visit our pen pals in Manton
        18: Mother/Son Game Night
        31: Field Trip to Historic White Pine Village
June   1: Fun to Be Fit

If you are willing and able to provide juice boxes or store-bought cookies for June 1, or are willing to direct students to our area as they finish the run that day, please let me know.

A "Normal" Week?

I almost hate to say this, but I think this week will be a typical week, with nothing extra special (like Junior Police) and the same old teacher (me) each day:-) Looking forward to it!

Busy Week!

We have a busy week ahead!

Monday is the last day I'll be gone for the month as far as I know.  Thank you for your patience.
This Tuesday and Thursday we have Junior Police.  Thursday they will be bringing a special surprise:)
Friday we have library, so don't forget your books!

PS- This week we are planning on creating our "trash creatures," so you have a couple of days to bring those things in.

Welcome back from Spring Break! I hope you had a wonderful week off.

Please bring in your "trash" by Fridays to create our creatures next week.  Make sure it's clean (no glass, please).

Wow! Students made over $70 at our bookstore today! Thank you to the parents who sent in stickers to help with our incentive and a very special thank you to Mrs. Beerens for helping run the bookstore today.  Students were very impressed with the money they earned!

Also, Mileage Club will be starting Monday, April 16.  Mrs. Kelley needs parent volunteers to help run this program again.  If you can help, you would be needed one day a week for six weeks.  You would be helping outside from 1:35-2:05 and again from 2:25-2:50.  Please contact her if you can help out.  Her contact info is: 825-2021 or ckelly@mcbain.org.
